NAPLAN Test Preparation Activities

Purpose: To familiarise students with NAPLAN testing format and question stems.

Target Audience: Years 2,4,6,8.  This is to provide students with the opportunity to become comfortable with interpreting and answering NAPLAN style tests. It also provides students with an introduction to online testing prior to the implementation of NAPLAN online.

Topics: Grammar and Punctuation.  Spelling being developed.

Implementation: The primary function of these resources is as a teaching tool that can be used by teachers to develop student testing literacies.  They may also be used for independent practise by students as a follow up to their implementation with the teachers.


  1. Standalone exe files that can be downloaded onto a computer or laptop (MAC version also available)
  2. ipad/android/web. The mobile version for ipad and android requires the Articulate Mobile Player (free) to view the activities.  The files can be downloaded onto the device for viewing offline.
  3. Web version is a direct link to the online version of these activities.

Accessing: These resources are available for schools via an eLearning support contribution of $200 per year level.  Schools will then be given access to the On your Mark edStudio that houses the resources and the information on how to download. Schools will be invoiced for the the resources.
