Outside hours school care

Woree outside school hours care (OSHC) provides children to feel safe, secure and supported as they grow in confidence to explore and learn. It is a government subsidised program providing supervision and fun for primary school children by our experienced and qualified childcare educators.

This program is of great benefit to both children and families, as it enables parents to work or study while their child is enjoying the benefits of a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

Location:

Woree OSHC is located at Woree State School in Block 13 with the OSHC office located in Block 2.

Before School Care:

Opening hours – 6.30am – 9am

Fees -$14.00 per session for a permanent booking & $16.00 per session for a casual booking.

At before school care we offer a variety of activities and we provide the children with breakfast before they go to school. Children leave the service at 8.45am, and our educators walk the Prep children to their classrooms to help get them settled in for the day.

After school care:

Opening Hours – 3pm-6pm

Fees - $17.50 per session for a permanent booking & $19.50 per session for a casual booking.

We provide a homemade meal and fresh fruit for the children every afternoon. You will often find most of the children outside playing in the afternoons, however we do offer a great range of craft activities and space for a supervised homework area.  Our educators collect Prep children from their classrooms every afternoon.

Vacation care and student free days:

A full day program is available 5 days per week during school holidays, and on Student Free Days from 7am to 6pm. ALL children are welcome over the School holidays to join in with our fun and exciting program. We do take the children out on excursions. Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon tea is provided.

Fees - Government subsidies

Fees are reduced in line with Child Care Benefit (CCB) entitlements which are determined by Centrelink using families assessable income.  In addition to CCB, families  are also entitled to the  Child Care Rebate (CCR)  on their  out of pocket expenses  which   can be paid directly to the service to reduce fees or through quarterly reimbursement into the families nominated bank account.
