Out of School Hours care
Woree State School P&C provide a supervised out of school hours Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service for children between 6:30am and 6:00pm every school day in a fun, safe environment. OSHC is a government subsidised program for primary school children supervised by qualified and experienced Childcare Educators.
This program is of great benefit to both children and families, as it enables parents to work or study while their child is enjoying the benefits of a safe, caring and stimulating environment. Permanent and casual bookings can be made to access this service.
Woree OSHC is located at Woree State School in Block 13 with the OSHC Office located in Block 2.

Before School Care:
Opening hours – 6.30am – 9.00am
*Fees – $18.50 per session for a permanent booking & $20.50 per session for a casual booking.
Before school care offers a variety of activities and provides the children with breakfast before they go to school. Children leave the service at 8.45am, Educators walk the Prep children to their classrooms to help get them settled in for the day.

After school care:
Opening Hours – 3.00pm-6.00pm
*Fees – $22.50 per session for a permanent booking & $24.50 per session for a casual booking
After hours care service provide a homemade meal and fresh fruit for the children every afternoon. You will often find most of the children outside playing in the afternoons, a great range of craft activities and space for a supervised homework area is provided. Our Educators collect Prep children from their classrooms every afternoon.

Vacation care and student free days:
A full day program is available five days per week during school holidays and on Pupil Free Days from 6:30am to 6:00pm. All children are welcome over the school holidays to join in the fun and exciting program. Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon tea is provided. Cost is $56.00 a day. A program is provided prior to each vacation break.

Fees – Government subsidies
Fees are reduced in line with Child Care Subsidy (CCS) entitlements which are determined by Centrelink using families' assessable income. Please do not hesitate to contact the Coordinator if you have any enquiries.
